Caspian Fashion Week is a universal business space, which is attractive for the international political, cultural and business community. The new, seventh season of Caspian fashion week took place in April 12-15. Geographical origin of designers this time included Tajikistan, Iran, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Monaco, Serbia, Austria, Azerbaijan and Armenia. During 4 nights of shows, the audience was shown more than 50 collections. Besides, this season a separate day was devoted to the commercial shows of popular brands, showrooms and stores from Astrakhan.
Special guests of the day program of Caspian Fashion Week include professor Giuseppe Lo Porto, head of the education department of consulate general of Italy in Moscow. The professor will deliver a lecture “Social and cultural aspects of the Italian fashion”. Among special guests, there is also Geoffrey Westgate, Head of Support Section of international patent system of World Intellectual Property Organization with his lecture “How safe are your designs? – Fashion as intellectual property”. Again, we are waiting for the skype lecture from the representatives of the European Institute of Design (Italy). The flagship of the educational program will be lectures on the history of fashion from Elena Karpova (Voronezh, Russia) and fashion management from Daria Yadernaya (Moscow, Russia).
Traditionally Caspian Fashion Week took place in Astrakhan Kremlin (Arsenal). The fashion event was opened on April 12 by the podium show of the brand PARDOV by Parnian Vatankhah (Iran). Light and simple fabrics of the looks were unusual in the sophisticated cut and bright colors. Collection united the vivid geometry, the romantic ruffles and flounces, flying sleeves and playful hems.
The evening was continued by the show of Adelya Kurnosova’s collection (Astrakhan). It consisted of magnificent fitted overalls and dresses made of pastel shades velvet in soft textures embellished with sequins and embroidery.
Leya.me collection (Saint Petersburg) will be remembered for its abundance of pastel candy gamma, striped black and white graphics and the whole atmosphere of chapiteau-show.
The touching show of kids’ sleepwear collection from MiniМi (Astrakhan) represented gowns of soft textures and gentle colors. One would not want to grow up of these clothing.
Clothes from Anastasia Kovall (Kaliningrad) are bright dresses of varying cut that always fit perfectly.
The keynote of Dinarа.Murasova. brand collection (Volgograd) became lapel bullet pockets in military style. The color palette was deliberately subdued with the purpose of emphasizing the strictness and self-possession.
The new Marina Gurvich collection (Astrakhan) has a recognizable handwriting and impeccable style, elegant cuts and trendy colors. Accessories from “Megaoptika” supplemented the models’ looks.
The show of brand Matreshka (Volgograd) represented airy and eternally “srtreamy” dresses in gentle powder and pearly grey tones. The classic capsule wardrobe may be different, oriental-like.
Casual looks run side by side with cocktail dresses and evening or formal outfits in a new collection by Madyuna (Tajikistan).
